Christ. The Centre.
If you know what is more important than anything else, and you consistently organise your life around what really matters, you will be blessed and your life will be abundant and full. For the Christian that centre is ‘Our Lord Jesus Christ’ and in this preaching series we will explore practical ways of making Christ our centre in everyday living. In the book of Ephesians, which we will study during the first half of 2023, Paul uses the word Christ (=‘anointed one’ or ‘Messiah’) 50 times. He invites us to take a close look at God’s Messiah, from many angles of view, to know him as we’ve never known him before, and to discover in him the source of an amazing life. Christ is the centre of the cosmos. When we align ourselves with this reality, we open the door to every good thing.
